Prior to publication, the CtA was endorsed by over 80 international professional associations, including the European Geriatric Medicine Society (EuGMS), International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics – European Region(IAGG-ER), International Collaboration of Orthopaedic Nursing (ICON), International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT), Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA), European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT), European Hip Society (EHS), European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ESTES), EuroSpine (the Spine Society of Europe), European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS), European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPMR), and the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR).

We are now seeking to extend that endorsement to the relevant national associations, in the hope that such universal support may influence policy-makers. If you are willing to do so, please let us know at the email address below and we will make the necessary arrangements. If there is a member of your organisation who is particularly interested in this issue, please give us their contact details.

Following on from this initiative, the FFN is organising meetings dedicated to the actual implementation of the recommendations of the Call to Action. Hence, we are glad to announce the
